BRUTTIUM. Kroton. Circa 530-500 BC. Stater (Silver, 26 mm, 7.94 g, 12 h). Ϙ-Ρ-Ο (retrograde) Tripod with legs ending in lion's feet; to left, heron standing on the Ο. Rev. Same type as the obverse, but incuse. Attianese 17. HN Italy 2082. SNG ANS 252 (same obverse die). An attractive example of this rare issue. Light marks, otherwise, good very fine.
